This post-academic course is designed for engineers and power system professionals looking to expand their knowledge in transmission systems. Participants will explore the latest advancements in transmission grids, underground cables, and HVDC technology, guided by industry experts. The course covers fundamental concepts, cable technology, protection, planning, and HVDC systems, with hands-on workshops at Etch-EnergyVille labs. 
This course offers a balanced introduction to transmission grids and their components, focusing on vital technologies for future grids: underground cables and HVDC. By the end of the course, attendees will have a comprehensive understanding of the transmission grid, its challenges, and emerging solutions.
