PowerModelsACDC.jl is a Julia/JuMP/PowerModels package with models for DC lines, meshed DC networks, and AC DC converters. Building upon the PowerModels architecture, the code is engineered to decouple problem specifications (e.g. Power Flow, Optimal Power Flow, …) from the power network formulations (e.g. AC, DC-approximation, SOC-relaxation, …).
About the speaker
Hakan Ergun is an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at Etch/KU Leuven/EnergyVille, specializing in power system planning and optimization for the energy transition. His work focuses on resilient transmission and distribution grids, hybrid AC/DC systems, and large‑scale renewable integration. He holds a PhD from KU Leuven and collaborates closely with academia, industry, and system operators on European and national energy projects.
