This Etch webinar introduces PowerImpedanceACDC.jl, a Julia-based tool for small-signal stability analysis in modern power systems. Leveraging analytical power system models, it evaluates stability in the frequency domain using impedance-based methods.
The built-in wide-band models have been validated against EMT/PSCAD, ensuring accurate stability assessments. Additionally, the tool’s functions enable users to apply frequency-domain techniques to identify and mitigate stability risks.
The session will start with an overview of frequency-domain stability methods, followed by an explanation of the tool’s principles and features. Its capabilities will be demonstrated through multiple case studies.
About the speaker
